Screenwriter, novelist, and poet Jaz Persing is an unapologetic lover of messy stories.

Whether she’s advocating freedom for her fellow queer survivors of bad theology, bending a plotline to accommodate beautifully human characters, or broadening her definition of god to include good poems and fingers stained with garden soil, Jaz believes in the power of a well-told story to open hearts and foster healing.
